Michael Persichilli joined Modern in 2019 as Director of Sales and Marketing for Machining and Heat Treating.
Michael Persichilli is an accomplished Executive with more than 25 years of experience, the majority directly responsible for developing and leading successful sales and marketing teams.
A self-described “recovering engineer”, Michael’s background with companies providing manufactured product and services has allowed him to provide technical and commercial support to customers, contractors, suppliers and strategic partners covering many industries.
His broad areas of expertise include engineering & product development, proposal development, sales & marketing, contract negotiation, project management, process improvement, operations management, government relations, and compliance.
Michael has a Bachelor of Engineering in Marine (Mechanical) Engineering from the State University of New York Maritime College, where he also obtained a U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Marine Operating Engineer License.
He subsequently served in the U.S. Navy Reserve, earning an honorable discharge as Lieutenant.
In his free time, Michael enjoys giving back to the community. He volunteers with the American Red Cross Disaster Team, and has served on the School Board, where he was instrumental in navigating the district out of a Fiscal Emergency.
